"I feel so humbled and honored to be able to practice Chinese Medicine. As a holistic medicine it has completely changed the way I view health and the treatment of disease. Over the years I have come to realize just how important lifestyle choices are in determining our vitality. I am grateful to all of the patients I have treated over the years for what they have taught me. I also have learned so much from my children. My goal in working with every patient is to create a safe space for them to heal as they work through the health challenges that life presents them with. Having grown up in the cold winters of Cleveland, Ohio I was always the kid who was sick. I had chronic strep infections as a child that were treated by multiple rounds of antibiotics and eventually a tonsilectomy. Little did I realize what an impact those antibiotics would have on my long term health. They led to digestive issues and leaky gut which caused hormonal imbalances and migraines. Luckily yoga and Chinese Medicine gave me a path back to balanced health by using mindful exercise, careful diet, acupuncture and herbs. " |
